About us
Safarnama means a travelogue, the diary a traveller keeps of the road. We started in 2019 in a small workshop in Kanpur's leather district, making one waxed-canvas rucksack for a friend's Spiti trip. He came back with stories and a bag that had held up to all of them.
Today we design backpacks, work bags, weekenders and small leather goods for people who actually use them: daily metro commutes, overnight trains, airport sprints and long weekends in the hills. Leather is vegetable-tanned in Kanpur, canvas is woven in Panipat, and every bag carries a warranty that covers stitching, zips and hardware.
